THE ST. LOUIS BLUES ARE STANLEY CUP BOUND HOLY SHIT!!!!

I honestly am still in shock right now. I’ve been absolutely buzzing all night I mean I’ve been a Blues hockey fan my whole life and have never seen them make the Stanley Cup Finals, I mean it’s been 49 fucking years and we finally did it. It’s such a massive accomplishment for this team obviously coming back from dead but it’s all for not if we don’t finish this thing off and win a cup.

Such a great all around Game 6, the crowd was rocking early and often thanks to Sammy Blais and we never let off their throats. Tarasenko played stellar again with another absolute SNIPE against Jones. I honestly feel a little bad for Martin Jones he played his dick off all series and he’s been getting dusted by Tara on the PP, mainly high glove side and tonight he roofs one blocker said just to say fuck you one last time.

We’re on to face the Bruins now, the first game is Monday night. Despite St. Louis failures against Boston in past championships I feel very confident. I also love the chirps on Twitter with all the Barstool guys, it’s going to be an absolutely Electric couple of weeks and I can’t wait to get it going. I didn’t wanna make a long blog cause I’m tired as shit but just wanted to say how happy I am, I mean I cried legit happy tears tonight this is such a special team and a special city.

THE ST. LOUIS BLUES ARE ONE WIN AWAY FROM THE STANLEY CUP FINALS

I honestly am a little bit scared to write blogs because the Blues have been playing good and I don’t want to jinx them because I have that kind of power.

This will not be a very long blog I just wanna say it incredible that this team will not quit. They could have quit January 3rd when they were dead last in the NHL, they could’ve quit when they were down 3-2 against the Stars, they could’ve quit when they lost to a fluke blown hand pass in this series. But guess what they didn’t because they have BALLS OF STEEL. I legitamately can’t fathom what kind of mental strength and belief in yourself and your team to just have faith that if you keep battling for the boys next to you it will all pay off, I’m just mentally too weak to comprehend it.

I was at Game 4 and Enterprise was Electric I had a blast and scoring within a minute was surreal. It kinda confirmed what everybody was thinking in that the handpass would motivate and piss off this team and that it could actually be the extra spark they needed to come back and win this series.

Game 5 was a no doubter start to finish. We just abused the Sharks physically and mentally and Schwartzy got his second hatty of the post season and Tarasenko was incredible again. Binnington wasn’t very busy in Game 5 but he made crucial saves to keep the momentum and was amazing in Game 4 as well. He’s another testament to the resiliency of this team by bouncing back with 2 huge games after giving up 5 at home in game 3.

I don’t have to much more to say I’m just enjoying this ride like everybody else. It’s very surreal to think that this team is 60 minutes away from their first Stanley Cup Final in 49 years. I don’t want to get ahead of myself because this is still a very good Sharks team but I love our chances of closing this series out at home in Game 6. Enjoy some highlights from Game 5. LGB!!

I LOVE THE ST LOUIS BLUES.

Oh my god. I’m still trying to process what we all just witnessed. The Blues just played their best game of the year for 4 and a half periods in a Game 7 to get to the western conference finals. Just an instant classic, my heart rate has been like a trillion for the last 4 hours that definitely can’t be good.

We just absolutely dominated them for 86ish minutes and if it were for a fluke goal off the refs skate it woulda ended in regulation. I hope that missed wrap around haunts Jamie Benn until the day he dies that scum bag. Binnington stood on his head all night despite a ton of action in the net.

I LOVE ROBERT THOMAS AND I LOVE PAT MAROON. That line was our best line all series and especially tonight. You just knew that Robert Thomas was going to create the winning chance and for it to be the Big Rig there to bang it home in his home town in 2OT in Game 7 I mean that’s as good as it gets. I’m absolutely buzzing and can’t keep writing here’s the winner watch it on loop forever.

Sammy Blais Is BOTH The Hero We Need AND Deserve

Yesterday may have been one of the best all around days as far as television watching goes. We got an absolute ass kicking by the Blues on the road in Dallas followed by an all time episode of Thrones after. Honestly shout out the dude who invented the TV I’m too lazy to look it up right now but what a legend.

We have been waiting for the Blues to play the way we’ve become accustomed to in the second half of the season. We’ve been squeaking out 1 goal wins all post season and have needed Binnington to stand on his head every game. We finally got back to getting a ton of help in front of Binnington, our forwards were backchecking perfectly and it was all 4 lines. Just an all around gritty performance with a ton of well worked goals and timely saves, that’s the Blues formula and it made me very optimistic for Game 7.

I was at Game 5 and I gotta say it was really embarrassing to hear our home crowd booing our team in the SECOND PERIOD IN A 2-2 SERIES. Have some faith one time for a team that has come back countless times this year and was left for dead in January. It’s national tv and we’re getting chirped left and right on Twitter just all around terrible look when we have a good fanbase. I don’t know if it was just the crowd that night or what but that shit better not happen Game 7.

Is Ben Bishop dead? Parayko legitamately may have killed him with that clapper from the blue line. For the handful of people thinking that shouldn’t be a goal, you’re an idiot. As long as the team with the injured goalie does not have the puck the game continues until they gain possession and that never happened. Props to Steen for being heads up and putting the puck towards net and Schwartz with a classy redirect for another playoff goal. I honestly feel bad for Bishop taking a shot from Parayko to the clavical cannot feel good, HOT TAKE.

If you clicked on this blog for the Sammy Blais tire pump here it is. In his FIRST NHL PLAYOFF GAME he finds himself on a breakaway in an elimination game on the road with a chance to seal it and send us home for Game 7 and he uncorks a goddamn piss missle that Ben Bishop had zero chance of stopping. As perfect of a shot as you can get in the biggest moment of his career thus far, he has the biggest set of brass balls of anybody in the NHL. Here are some pics of me and Sammy Blais.

Game 7 is tomorrow at 7PM. I love Game 7s more than anything in sports.. DUH. But Game 7 at home in a very chippy series to get to the Western Conference Finals. If you can’t get up for this game then you fucking suck and don’t come around after we murder the Stars and come for Lord Stanley himself. I love the Blues, I love this city.

It’s Time To Declare War Against The City Of Dallas

We’re 2 and a half hours from game time and the closer we get the more my hatred for their team and their shit fans grows. It was very apparent the Hockey Gods declined my recommendation that the Stars lose every game Esa Lindell plays. That being said there is 0 chance the Blues lose tonight. Zip, zero, nada. You know what flopping around like a bunch of pussies gets you in the NHL Playoffs? It gets you sent home. It was one thing for Esa Lindell to be a little pussy but now we got Ben Bishop acting like he got murdered on a slash by Perron and Benn started shit with Bennington. I would love nothing more than for Bennington to skate to center ice and beat the shit out of Ben Bishop. As for Dallas fans those morons on twitter chirping like they haven’t been flopping all series and defending Bishop for acting like a pussy. I’ve had enough of the cheap penalties and the embellishing this is fucking playoff hockey get it together.

As for the actual game tonight the forward lines are going to stay the same for the Blues. The defensive lines will get one change in that Edmundson is now in for Bortuzzo.

Game 3 was ugly we looked flat we were taking a ton of perimeter shots and not getting any pucks through on goal. And on the opposite side we couldn’t get the Stars out of the slot and they always had players in Benningtons face. Just the exact opposite of the way the Blues have played the entire second half of the season soooo NOT GREAT.

The good news is we still stole one on the road and re-established home ice advantage so mission accomplished there. Tarasenko scored a good Power Play goal and despite the 4 spot on the scoreboard Bennington played really solid the entire game. The other very bright spot was Robert Thomas. He’s been great on the forecheck all playoffs and is one of our better skaters with the puck. His finishing hasn’t always been there but he creates chances galore and scored an absolute beauty off the bar late in Game 4

Enterprise is going to be a mad house tonight and the Blues WILL 100% beat the fuck out of the Stars. The hockey gods will absolutely not allow it. It’s Tarasenko rally towel night so I’m assuming that means Vladi is guaranteed a hat trick so take that to the bank. I will be at Enterprise with the great people of St. Louis but if you are watching from home the game will be on NBCSN starting at 8:30 after the Islanders and Hurricanes wrap up. Here’s to hoping we get some GLORIA jamming through the speakers tonight. LGB!

Jamaal Charles Officially Signs 1-Day Contract And Retires As A Chief.

If you are a fan of football then you should be a fan of Jamaal Charles. In his prime he was the most electric running back in the game and literally took your breathe away when he broke monster runs.

He will be a no doubter for the Chiefs Hall of Fame and will be on the ring very soon. Will he be an NFL HoF I really don’t know but my bias says in 10 or 15 years he will get the credit he deserves. It really is a shame that the Chiefs were either bad or mediocre during his best days but he is still the most impressive running back I’ve seen in a Chiefs uniform(sorry Priest I fucking love you).

Charles is #1 in yards per carry for a running back in the HISTORY of the NFL. Barry Sanders? Nope. Jim Brown? Nope. Adrian Peterson? Nope. Emmitt Smith? Nope. JAMAAL FUCKING CHARLES.

Jamaal was also a fantasy God. Remember week 15 in 2013? I do. 51 points for the homie.

He was perfect. He could get you a yard when you need it and he could bust a big one every play. He had great hands out of the backfield and made defenders miss with ease. Watching him get to the second level and cruise past the secondary is one of the most visually pleasing things I’ve ever witnessed. Despite being an NFL superstar he was humble and loved the city and the fans even when the Chiefs didn’t extend him. He will always be a fan favorite and a legend in Kansas City and I hope the day comes that he gets inducted into the Hall of Fame because he deserves it.

Thanks for all the memories Jamaal!

If The Hockey Gods Are Real The Stars Will Lose Every Game That Esa Lindell Plays In

Game 3 of this series was so good. It’s what makes playoff hockey incredible, an entire series flip flopping with every goal scored. However it was slightly over shadowed by that blatant flopping by Esa Lindell that pussy. And thank God it was Pat Maroon bodying him in front to score the game winning goal.

I don’t really feel like writing a game 3 recap. It happened two days ago if you’re reading this you probably like the Blues so you know what happened. The entire purpose of this blog is to continue enforcing the narrative that Esa Lindell is a huge pussy and to talk a little about game 4.

The lines are staying the same as Game 3. The only change is that Vince Dunn has been moved to the PP1 unit for this game. This is such a pivotal game for the Blues. Ben Bishop has been great all year following a loss and that was the exact case in Game 2. Having an opportunity to take a 3-1 back to St. Louis with a chance to close it out at home can not be under stated. This is the exact scenario where teams have to step on the throats of their opponents which is something the Blues historically struggle with.

It feels like the Blues still haven’t played their best hockey of the Playoffs which should terrify the Stars. Bennington has been great and yet the Blues still haven’t won a single game by more than 1 goal. The Blues have also been a great road team and haven’t lost a single road game yet this postseason. I think all these factor into a big night for the Blues tonight, and my prediction is 4-1. I think this is going to be another game where our superstars put the team on their back and that starts with Tarasenko.

Game 4 doesn’t start until 8:30 on NBCSN following the Islanders vs Canes game which sucks especially after the debacle we had in Game 1 of the series with the Boston game going into OT.

Here’s to hoping we get to hear Gloria tonight LGB

Recapping An Electric Game 1 And Preview of Blues Vs Stars Game 2

First things first big fuckin shout out Robby Fabbri. To say it’s been a bumpy road for Fabbri would be an understatement he’s battled injuries the last couple years after back to back ACL tears. As a fellow survivor of an ACL tear this goal felt just as much mine as his. But on a serious note that was a massive goal. He hasn’t scored since November and hasn’t had a playoff goal since May of 2016. The first goal in a new series is so important and if you listened to the postgame interviews you can hear how happy everybody was for Fabbs and how that goal really jumpstarted the team.

BIG DADDY VLADI.

Two absolutely stellar goals from Tara and he’s been working so hard night in and night out. He’s really showing everybody that doubted him that he’s a superstar in this league and it’s really special to watch in the playoffs. That first goal he drew the penalty on Polak and then 10 seconds later went 5-hole on Sleeper Agent Bishop to score the first power play goal against the Stars in the post season. His second goal was a fucking beauty, Berube told the boys after Game 4 in the Jets series we have to be more aggressive driving to the net and we saw it a ton in games 5 and 6 and it’s already continuing in the Stars series with Tarasenko taking a Heiskanen (stud) for a walk in the park before roofing one thanks for comin!

Same^^^

It was another stellar performance from Binnington. He remains to be calm, cool, and collected and it’s so important for this team to know that they can trust the guy between the pipes. I thought the defense played relatively well with some lapses from Bouwmeester and Petra-Angelo (Pierre fucking sucks put Panger between the benches NBC). I thought Parayko and Dunn played well and it’s great to see the confidence oozing out of our young defenseman, it really is crazy how much it helps when you’re not constantly worried that every mistake you make is going to immediately lead to a goal.

Overall I thought it was a hell of a game 1. The Blues took care of business at home and did it on the back of their superstars. I didn’t think it was our best game and that’s why it’s that much more important that we were able to win a game like this.

Tomorrow’s game is an early one starting at 2PM Central on NBC. Look at how sexy Enterprise Center looks right now I can’t wait to see the place rocking tomorrow and hear some fucking Gloria!

Final thing I wanted to give a shoutout to the homie YP. He’s been crushing the Blues coverage and has a ton of great Blues gear so give him a follow and LETS GO BLUES!!

Tyreek Hill Needs To Be Released. It’s Time.

I’m not gonna write a ton about this because I wrote a blog on it yesterday. That being said the new audio that was released today is sickening. I said it yesterday that it’s a fucking sickening situation to hear the way the DA talked about crimes being committed against a THREE YEAR OLD CHILD. The audio speaks for itself you just cannot continue to give guys like Tyreek chances when it’s clear it’s not working. I’ve defended him in the past and I wish I hadn’t the audio speaks for itself and I think it’s important to listen to and realize this shit really happens.

From a Chiefs perspective you have to cut ties. The timing of this is going to be very strange with the NFL draft in less than an hour. You have to think the Chiefs try to get back into the first round or at least move up to an early second in order to draft Tyreeks replacement.

From another note too if the Chiefs had this audio and still did nothing it’s hard to defend and their track record over the last few years has already been spotty. Just a terrible all around situation and I hope that Tyreeks son is safe.

If Something Happens To Patrick Mahomes II Aka My Dad Then John Madden Will Have Hell To Pay

Listen don’t get me wrong John Madden seems like a chill dude, solid announcer in his prime and some damn good video games. However, if the Madden curse somehow effects Patrick Mahomes II something bad will happen to John Madden. That’s not a threat Johnny I’m just saying you better hope Patrick wins a super bowl next year or it’s your ass buddy.

Now that the threatening John Madden portion is out of the way.(not a threat) I would like to say it’s actually pretty dope to see a Chief on the cover of Madden. I’ve had Pujols on MVP Baseball 2004, Tarasenko on NHL 17 and now Mahomes on Madden 2020. Especially in a market like KC that often gets overlooked outside of Missouri it’s special to see our favorite player and reigning MVP get chosen as the cover athlete for a game that was a big part of my childhood.

I love Patrick so much and so I’m obviously bias but this cover fucking SLAPS. I haven’t bought a Madden game since 2013? Maybe 2012 because FIFA is just a way better game but there is no way in hell im not buying this game.
