Sammy Blais Is BOTH The Hero We Need AND Deserve

Yesterday may have been one of the best all around days as far as television watching goes. We got an absolute ass kicking by the Blues on the road in Dallas followed by an all time episode of Thrones after. Honestly shout out the dude who invented the TV I’m too lazy to look it up right now but what a legend.

We have been waiting for the Blues to play the way we’ve become accustomed to in the second half of the season. We’ve been squeaking out 1 goal wins all post season and have needed Binnington to stand on his head every game. We finally got back to getting a ton of help in front of Binnington, our forwards were backchecking perfectly and it was all 4 lines. Just an all around gritty performance with a ton of well worked goals and timely saves, that’s the Blues formula and it made me very optimistic for Game 7.

I was at Game 5 and I gotta say it was really embarrassing to hear our home crowd booing our team in the SECOND PERIOD IN A 2-2 SERIES. Have some faith one time for a team that has come back countless times this year and was left for dead in January. It’s national tv and we’re getting chirped left and right on Twitter just all around terrible look when we have a good fanbase. I don’t know if it was just the crowd that night or what but that shit better not happen Game 7.

Is Ben Bishop dead? Parayko legitamately may have killed him with that clapper from the blue line. For the handful of people thinking that shouldn’t be a goal, you’re an idiot. As long as the team with the injured goalie does not have the puck the game continues until they gain possession and that never happened. Props to Steen for being heads up and putting the puck towards net and Schwartz with a classy redirect for another playoff goal. I honestly feel bad for Bishop taking a shot from Parayko to the clavical cannot feel good, HOT TAKE.

If you clicked on this blog for the Sammy Blais tire pump here it is. In his FIRST NHL PLAYOFF GAME he finds himself on a breakaway in an elimination game on the road with a chance to seal it and send us home for Game 7 and he uncorks a goddamn piss missle that Ben Bishop had zero chance of stopping. As perfect of a shot as you can get in the biggest moment of his career thus far, he has the biggest set of brass balls of anybody in the NHL. Here are some pics of me and Sammy Blais.

Game 7 is tomorrow at 7PM. I love Game 7s more than anything in sports.. DUH. But Game 7 at home in a very chippy series to get to the Western Conference Finals. If you can’t get up for this game then you fucking suck and don’t come around after we murder the Stars and come for Lord Stanley himself. I love the Blues, I love this city.

LGB!! BORIS PLAY GLORIA!!!
